Hi my name is captain Jeff Goater. I am a U.S.C.G. master licensed captain. I probably should start by saying this all started back in the late 70's when the first fish stockings began. I got hooked on it!!! Tournaments started popping up all over the south shore of the lake and I wanted in. So with running my electrical buisness all week and now running a tournament boat my plate was pretty full. I can't complain though, with over 60 placings & 4 grandprize winners it was worth it. I am still putting fish in tournaments-[ Pictured above is one that placed in the spring LOC derby] . My goals at that time were to collect a check at the end of every tournament I fished. Things have changed a little now with me closing my business 12 yr's ago & running my charter business full time, my goal now is to watch as people hookup with the biggest fish of their lives and see the huge smile on their faces!!!
